How Does Somatic Coaching Work?

Here’s the welcome news: there is nothing wrong with you and you don’t need to be fixed.

In work and in life, the culture we live in prioritizes and praises being in our heads and has disconnected us from our bodies and the wisdom the body holds. We will embark on an organic process/journey together to bring you back to your intuition, higher self, and less reactive body wisdom.

We’ll often begin with the question: how do you want to feel at the end of this session? Knowing this preferred destination, we may use exercises and movements to reconnect with your body’s wisdom. These are easy poses and movements, not strenuous, to allow for deep listening of what your intuition is saying. Your body will open up and share its wisdom and knowing with you, even if you’ve felt cut off/separate from your body.

Coaching is not therapy. Although we may touch on things of the past and why you may respond in a certain way to situations, we will not be doing psycho-therapy. It will assist you in knowing yourself better and understanding both the patterns that are no longer working for you and liberating practices that you can add to your life.

We will embark on an organic journey together to bring you back to your intuition, higher self, and less reactive body wisdom.
